How to speed up your Mac? If your Mac is running slow, here are a few things to try to speed up your Mac. This works on iMac, iMac Pro, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Mac Mini, and Macbook air. • If you want to try the software I use to take care of all this, here is a link to CleanMyMacX. • CleanMyMacX (affiliate) • https://macpaw.audw.net/kXV6d • First, check your activity monitor to see which programs are taking up a large amount of memory or CPU. • Close unused apps by pressing command+option+escape or choose force quit from the apple menu. • Clear out the cache. • You can clear the cache in the library folder on your Mac. • ~/library/caches • Remove login items. • On most Macs, some applications start as soon as you start your Mac and may slow down your Mac.
