Here is a great meal for your family! It’s a meal kids will love because it’s a combination of pizza and spaghetti. My favorite way to make this dish is to use my leftover spaghetti noodles and pasta sauce. This dish is a creative way to turn leftovers in to a new and exciting supper. • 8 ounces spaghetti, uncooked • 2-3 tsp. salt • 2 eggs • 1/4 cup milk • 2 to 3 C shredded mozzarella cheese, divided • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt • 1 teaspoon oregano • 1/4 teaspoon basil • 1 jar (23.9 oz.) spaghetti sauce • Pepperoni or other pizza toppings • DIRECTIONS: • If using left over spaghetti, preheat the oven to 425° and begin with Step 2. • 1. Preheat the oven to 425°. Bring a pot of water and 2-3 teaspoons of salt to a boil. Once the water is boiling add spaghetti noodles that have been broken into 2 inch pieces. Cook the spaghetti according to the directions on the package. Drain and cool the noodles. Be sure to cool the noodles so that you don’t end up with cooked eggs in Step 2. • 2. Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Next add the milk, garlic salt, oregano, basil, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Mix well to combine. Stir this mixture into the cooked and cooled spaghetti. Spread the mixture evenly into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. • 3. Remove the spaghetti crust from the oven, and reduce the temperature of the oven to 350°. Spread your pasta sauce evenly over the crust. Add your pizza toppings including the remaining cups of cheese. Return the dish to the oven and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. • 4. Let your spaghetti pizza sit for at least 5 minutes before cutting. • If you would like double this recipe, use a jellyroll pan for baking. • #ThymeToCook • #lovingleftovers • #delicious
