Sony CDXG1200U Head Unit distortion with HPF ON

Apologies for the vertical video. • This also applies to CDX-G1201U and CDX-G1202U • Occurs when (In my case) • +HPF is turned on • +AUX mode • Get worse when • +Increase Aux volume • +Increase source volume • Link to the official Sony firmware update below. • https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/su... • Just to be on the safe side I would suggest downloading the firmware from Sony - (The country your head unit was purchased from) to avoid any issues. • Flash the firmware in your discretion, I am not responsible if you incorrectly flash your head unit and brick it. Follow instructions on sony's website. • What I find to be strange is that it was fine for all these months but happened out of the blue few days back, I thought it was the phone at the time and didn't think much about it.
