Do you want to print in a filament that’s clear or close to clear? There are a lot of options available today. Here are four examples I had on hand, but there are many, many more options out there these days. • • What better way to show off translucent filaments than @3DPrintBunny’s Loopy Lantern, which does something you typically don’t do in 3D printing—printing in mid-air with intentional overhangs. This is a vase mode model but is surprisingly sturdy as well as fun to hold. With a little battery tea light candle (no real candles!) they look lovely in my tree but can add ambiance to any setting. The model is free to download on Prusaprinters.org. • Filaments: • 3DTomorrow Natural PLA: https://3dtomorrow.com/product/uk-mad... • TecBears Transparent PLA: https://amzn.to/38QIKXX • Protopasta Transparent Iridescent Ice HTPLA https://www.proto-pasta.com/collectio... • Taulman t-glase PETT: https://amzn.to/3n9s3z8 • Model: • Loopy Lantern by 3DPrintBunny - Free to download on www.prusaprinters.org • Music: Carnivale Intrigue by Kevin MacLeod • Link: https://filmmusic.io/song/3477-carniv... • License: https://filmmusic.io/standard-license • I have no connection to the manufacturer and have purchased any filaments shown.
