Mercury 99 Water Pump Rebuild

I had to get into my 2019 Merc 9.9 4 strokes lower unit as it was not peeing as good as it use to. I though it was because I picked up some crud. Turns out it was just time for a new impeller. • I purchased the impeller kit form Bass Pro where I bought the motor from. I know know that I can fins it cheaper else where and will do that from now on. • Here is the part number I used.....47-803748K01 from Mercury. It is the basic kit. • There is a more in depth kit that comes with a new base plate, water pump housing, and impeller housing as well but that one was twice the price. • My motor only has 130 Hrs on it and is just about two years old. Combined with the fact that I take care of it. It gets a full freshwater flush and rinse after each use. Therefore I didn't think I needed the complete replacement kit. Turns out I was right, fairly clean in side just needed a new impeller. • If you are somewhat handy, you can do this in your garage in about 30 minutes.
