Have you ever tried flushing the toilet and there was no resistance on the handle? There could be a number of reasons for this. In our case it was the latch mechanism on the float of the fill valve that had worn out and gotten stuck. In this video we show you how to replace this less than $10 part in about 15 minutes with no tools. It's pretty straightforward. • Part that needed replacing: • Toilet Fill Valve (Fluidmaster 400A) • Purchased at Home Depot (3 pack) $19 • Labor - Pam's elbow grease and time (less than 15 mins) • You can get a three pack by going to Home Depot or going to Amazon here: • https://amzn.to/3ApuuXH • Disclaimer: • If you click the link and buy this I'll get a small commission from Amazon because I'm an Amazon Associate. The price you'll pay isn't affected whether you use the link or not, but if you'd rather not use my link just search for this on the Amazon site directly.
