February in Switzerland Weather Activities Events

It is February in Switzerland and the Swiss winter is in full swing. During this month a lot of locals head up to ski resorts to enjoy their winter holidays. The weather is getting warmer, there are a lot of sunny days and the snow already starts to melt here and there. But don't worry, all your winter activities such as skiing, sledging and winter walking can still be done. Chances are you might enjoy all of these activities even more as it is generally not as cold anymore. At lower altitudes and in the cities, such as Lucerne, Basel and the Canton of Valais there is Swiss carnival going on towards the end of February.
