I will always put my family's well being before YouTube and sometimes, like this week, I will have to scale things down. • Running a YouTube channel outside of a normal life with a fulltime job is VERY hard and time consuming and it doesn't take much for the deck of cards to collapse. But don't get me wrong, I love doing this even if it gets tough sometimes. • Anyway, I got a comment on the belt tensioner while assembling the engine a few videos back. Apparently I installed the tensioner in the wrong way (Yes, I Am human and make mistakes..) • I was going to correct that in the video while fitting the engine in the car (And that was the original plan for this weeks video) but then, BOOM, life happens and you got to scale things down. So, why not do the whole VVT thing from the beginning to end while adjusting the tensioner in the correct way. • Now, the VVT is something that I avoided in the disassembling and assembling of the engine simply because I have never done it before, it is quite sensitive, and I didn't have the special tools required. But I got hold of some documents from Volvo on how to do it, and in this video I try to share that experience with you. • This video hopefully covers the VVT on the B5254T engine with the Single Exhaust VVT. In the future, we might run the dual VVT engine. Maybe I will cover that in a future video. • If you have any questions or concerns, please leave a comment. • //Backman • • ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • • Disclaimer: • Due to factors beyond the control of BackmansGarage, I cannot guarantee against improper use or unauthorized modifications of this information.
