Flying a Delta Kite CRAZY High with Camera amp Crashing It

I took my 9' Levitation Delta out to the beach on Fire Island, NY because I needed to straighten out some of my kite line. I attached my GoPro camera to the kite line to take some Kite Aerial Video since the kite would be up super high (always check local regulations get clearance if needed before flying a kite too high). I recently replaced the stock kite frame with new carbon fiber tubes from Sky Shark (P400) and was excited to see how the kite flew with the new lighter frame. I was very happy with how it flew and discovered that it was my error that caused the spreader to splinter as I mention in the video. I did not properly secure the ferrule in the P400 carbon fiber tube and probably used a ferrule that was too short. • My name is Evan Reinheimer, I am a full time artist.
