Today we review the third and final Scotch from a Speyside sample pack...the Shieldaig The Oloroso Edition!!! This is a release from a conglomerate of sort...Ian Macleod Distilleries owns a number of different labels. This sampler pack is pretty common at some of your big box liquor stores. We always find this to be a great way to get to try a bunch of different releases without committing to an entire bottle. They also have a Highland and an Islay collection. This was much too sweet for our palates and is much more expensive than the other in the collection...we wouldn't recommend buying a whole bottle but are glad that it was part of the sample pack!!
