A classic romantic movie, directed by Raja Nawathe, features Sanjeev Kumar and Leena Chandavarkar in the lead roles. • Plot: • Leena (Leena Chandavarkar), resides with her wealthy uncle and aunt and is a rich spoilt brat. As stated in her father's will, in order to inherit the wealth left by her father, she needs to marry someone. Leena does not want to get married and hence plots a plan after discussing the same with her best friend Pushpa (Nazima). She gives an advertisement in the paper searching for a rich groom. She gets one response from this advertisement and the two start talking to each other via letters. Leena informs her uncle and aunt that she is going to get married with her childhood friend and heads off towards Dehradun. There she learns that this man is an old man and is just fooling around. She comes across Sushil (Sanjeev Kumar), a porter, and narrates her entire problem to him. Sushil suggests her that she should pay someone to marry her and after she gets the entire property, she can give him a divorce. Will Leena accept the advice given to her by Sushil? Who will she hire to become her husband?
