Hazel and Emilia demonstrate the crystallisation method of making soluble salts. Copper sulfate crystals are made by reacting sulfuric acid and copper oxide. We show you how to react the two reactants, filter the saturated solution, and then evaporate the resultant salt solution. • You can see more of Emilia's experiments on Insta: @emilia.science • A special thank you to Sancton Wood School in Cambridge for letting us use their lab to film in. • These videos are designed to help with your GCSE and IGCSE science revision. • To keep up to date with my Science with Hazel videos and support: • Visit my website: https://sciencewithhazel.co.uk/ • Follow me on Instagram:   / sciencewithhazel   • Add me on Snapchat:   / sciencewithazel   • Like my Facebook page:   / sciencewithazel   • Hazel completed her undergraduate degree at St John's College, the University of Cambridge. She then did a PGCE (Post-Graduate Certificate of Education) before qualifying as a science teacher. She now works full time as a professional tutor. • Material required for Level 9 is included.
