Join us as we explore some of our favourite Spanish towns we have been be to so far! • In this weeks episode of The Road to Morocco, we start our countdown to crossing into Morocco after getting the dogs titre tests done. Whilst we have 3 weeks to kill, we decide to head inland to explore some of Spain's finest towns. But it's not all plain sailing as we all receive a government weather warning for extreme flooding, we finally decide to replace the step and Anna gets Wesley Sniped between the eyes by a pesky mosquito! (dont laugh) • We start off exploring the beautiful town of Ronda. Famous for its Puente Nuevo Bridge built in 1793 over the El Tajo Gorge, it also boasts beautiful scenery, tight alleys and traditional Spanish houses. Ronda also has a 14th century palace and a 200 year old bull fighting ring which we didn't manage to visit although we have heard/read that they are both great to visit. With both Campsites and street parking on the outskirts, Ronda is a really accessible place to visit for all kinds of travellers and an absolute MUST!! • The next town on our absolute MUST visits is Cordoba! We stayed here for four days and we could have stayed for longer. The main attraction being the breathtaking World Heritage Mosque, Mezquita-Catedral, built in 784 as an Islamic mosque then converted into a Christian cathedral in the 13th century. It has the most amazing architecture that is oozing in history. You cant help but feel amazed as you walk around admiring the interior. Cordoba also boasts a number of squares, Roman ruins, narrow streets, monuments, Flamenco dancing and its instagram famous Roman bridge. We also manage to explore the Zoo and the HUGE Children's park. This Town absolutely has the TravelBucks stamp of approval as a MUST see!! • We would like to take a moment to send out our prayers and wishes to all those that has been affected by the storms again. Sadly, Spain cant catch a break at the minute.
