The distance between two latitudes varies from 110.567 km around 68.706 miles at the Equator to 111.699 km around 69.41 miles at the poles. The distance between the longitudes would be somewhere around 111.32 km around 69.18 miles at the equator whereas the same distance at the poles would be 0 km. So we can say that the time varies more for less distance as we move towards the pole because time is dependent only on the longitudes however there is not much populace in the close vicinity of the poles.
