Vehicle 300 OverTheSide Copter Rescue Pine Valley

PINE VALLEY - April 5, 2013 - A 25 year old woman is recovering in the hospital this evening after driving her car 300 feet over the side of a mountain in Pine Valley. The woman was trapped in the vehicle and surrounded by thick brush, making access difficult. The woman may be paralyzed, as she told medics that she could not feel her lower extremities. She also suffered a laceration to the head and a broken wrist. A large rescue response turned out, including Copter 10 which did a hoist rescue, Mercy Air 6 which transported the woman, and a wide range of law and fire agencies. Sheriff even brought out their aviation fuel truck for the helicopters. The location of this incident is no stranger to vehicles going over the side.
