How to beat Failed Champion Radiant Hollow Knight

A guide on how to beat Failed Champion - Radiant, meaning taking no hits/no damage in Hollow Knight. • Any questions feel free to put in the comments or happy to answer when I'm live on Monday, Wednesday Friday. • -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • TWITCH ► / wayofloci • JOIN OUR DISCORD ► / discord • -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Failed Champion tips • Opening 0:11, As he drops down you can get some extra hits in. • Pattern 0:14, You want to be going to the opposing wall from FC dodging the shockwaves and falling rocks, and dashing under him when he goes for the jump slam, getting some hits in before again going to the other wall. • Jump Slam, If he does in the middle of the arena I dash to or stay near the closest wall, when he is goes to do this near the wall dash under and get some hits in. • Shockwave, through the phase you should always be keeping distance so jumping over this should be fine. Keep in mind the falling rocks, using a shadow dash or Desolate Dive if needed to avoid. • Falling rocks, trying to walk between only using shadow dash if specifically needed. Biggest danger is when jumping over the shockwave so keep in mind. • Cheese 0:39, when he staggers if left for a period of time he will get up again, when you pogo (downstrike) on his armour this resets that period of time. In that time you can get 2 dreamnails off for soul (or 2 heals). This can be an infinite loop, so maximise soul health (if not doing radiant). 2 hits will start the next part, then use 2 abyss shrieks, get close as he is the center 1 abyss shriek. Then dash to the side, using the remaining soul for shade souls. • Centre rock spam 1:02, you can hit the rocks at FC to cause damage. Or upstrike them to get rid. • Radiant/Attune, Radiant health is a lot more so will take 3 Abyss shrieks, 3 shade souls and potentially more nail hits.
