Today we discover a hidden gem which pays tribute to those who fought in the skies for our freedom. • This relatively new aviation and military museum was founded in 2003. Interestingly, one of their founding advisory directors was the late Neil Armstrong! • The museum boasts a collection of restored World War II era aircraft, period automobiles, educational displays and replica barracks and flight training center. • An important feature of this museum is their onsite preservation shop, where each of their historic aircraft have been restored to flight ready status.
