Do you love your IKEA cabinet front design, but don't want to ruin the look with drilling a hole in it for the handle? We are showing you how to install the push-to-open function for the IKEA Besta Cabinet, which just takes minutes to install for an easy to open cabinet. • Norse Interiors allows you to upgrade your IKEA Besta using Scandinavian-designed cabinet doors and accessories from a cookie-cutter look to match your personal style. You can make 1000+ different cabinets by choosing color, design, knobs, pulls, and legs to create a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture, without the markup. DIY never looked better! • Contents: • • How to Attach Cabinet Doors with Push-Open Function to the Pre-Assembled IKEA Cabinet • Steps: • If you don't have an IKEA Besta cabinet at home, you can buy the frames without the doors, for just $60 from IKEA, which makes this a zero-waste makeover. Once you've assembled the Besta, it's time to add Norse Interiors components. The push-open function is included when you buy the IKEA Besta cabinet frame, so all you need to purchase separately is the Norse Cabinet front. • 1)The items you’re going to need: a screwdriver, these short screws and these two parts. • 2) Start by attaching this grey part, at the bottom two holes on the front side of the cabinet where the door open closes. Use the holes marked as B on this grey part. • 3) Align the holes in the plastic piece with the holes in the cabinet then use the screwdriver to easily attach the gray plate with two screws. • 4) Put the bottom against the plastic clips and then simply snap in the front. When you hear a click, you know you’ve finished this simple installment. Now, your door opens with a small push. • 5) To add the cabinet doors, use hinges from IKEA, which also comes with the push-open functionality in case you don't want to add knobs or handles to your cabinet. Attach the hinges to the door and mount the door to the IKEA system. Use the top and bottom holes for this. • 6) Adjust the hinges to make the doors perfectly level. IKEA's hinges are adjustable in height, depth, and width by loosening or tightening the three screws on the hinge that are not used for attaching it to the frame. • And voila - the credenza is finished! • Products used: • • Eleanor Cabinet: https://norseinteriors.com/collection... • Get in touch with Norse: • https://norseinteriors.com/ • / norseinteri. . • / norseinteriors • / norseinteri. .
