Modelling an AC electromagnet using Comsol Multiphysics

This Comsol tutorial shows how an AC electromagnet consisting of a ferrite core and a coil can be modelled numerically. The 3D simulation is done in the frequency domain (assuming sinusoidal input current). The ferrite core gets magnetized by the magnetic field generated from the alternating current in the coil.
