They didn’t just set out to create another service that sends you food and a random recipe. Instead they focused on creating a service that focuses on the ease of cooking combined with delicious and unique meals. Needless to say, we ended up making a really great meal! • Here’s what we liked… • First, the recipe card was super simple to follow. You could tell that they put a lot of time and effort into designing it. On the front it gives you a big picture of the final meal with important information such as estimated cooking time. And on the back you have your six step recipe. I love that they make each recipe only six steps. A lot of meal delivery services go a little overboard with how many steps they include! • Second, Marley Spoon teamed up with Martha Stewart (hence the name change to “Martha Marley Spoon”). While it could be easy to say that this is just a celebrity endorsement, I could tell that these were recipes inspired by Martha’s cooking. They were unique and fun without being overly complicated to make. • Lastly, they included quality ingredients. Many meal delivery services like to include “off brand” ingredients to save money. However, Marley Spoon actually includes high quality ingredients that you’ll actually recognize. For example, one of our recipes included my favorite brand of Almond Butter (Justin's Almond Butter). • Overall, we were very impressed with Marley Spoon. The cooking experience was fun. The flavor of the soup actually really surprised me. They had us throw in ginger and quinoa into a chicken soup and it tasted incredible! Who would have thought… • Have a question about Marley Spoon?
