While growing up in a two-stoplight town in Texas, Randy Harvey yearned to see the world. Sportswriting brought his dream to life during a half-century at newspapers, including 30 years at the Los Angeles Times. He covered 15 Summer and Winter Olympic Games, as well as four World Cups. Randy tells us about being there for the perfect gymnastic routines of Nadia Comaneci and Mary Lou Retton.
