This guide will include various options • Useful for lower level players • Less useful for players with higher defense but the option is there • • Getting to Barrows (My preferred Banking Method): • 1. Ectophial (Ghost Ahoy Quest) • 2. Dramen Staff (Fairy Tale Part II Quest) • 3. Fairy Code BKR • 4. Run South and Board Swampy Boat (Started, not finished, Nature Spirit) • Warning: Completing Nature Spirit gives defense xp • 5. You've now arrived at Barrows(or just get there how you like) • Attack Styles: • 4 Melee Brothers - Use Magic, best option • Karils - Melee or Mage(believe it or not, mage works well 5:48) • Ahrims - Range of Melee • [Ranging makes getting KC in the Tunnels much easier] • [Melee leads into other Bosses outside of Barrows] • Tryhard (Run-around Method): (Only works on Melee Brothers) • 1. Open Chest • 2. Run to opposite side of the Sarcophagus from the Brother • 3. Walk on (Important) • 4. Spellbook Open(to Manual Cast) • 5. Manual Cast (and hold down CTRL to toggle Run) • If Dharok/Guthan • 6. 3:53 Run (2 steps in the direction you want to go, then walk the rest) to the opposite end of Chest and Repeat • If Verac/Torag • 6. 6:09 Just run around the corner • Against Ahrims and Karils I highly advise just using Protection Prayer. • When Underground: (Thought Process) • Where Am I? (Look at Compass and adjacent rooms) • Which Doors can I go through? (Look around, usually its a single path) • Which Center (Puzzle) Doors are able to be open? (Look into the center) • Who is my Tunnel Brother? (Who haven't you killed so far) • If its a Tunnel Melee Brother, look for safespots 11:52 • If NOT a Tunnel Melee Brother, just look for Safe spots to get Kill Count • Get 14 Kill Count • Head to Center • Solve Puzzle • Loot • Bank or head back Upstairs to Repeat • Additional Information: • Why kill the brothers at their Sarcophagus? (They're lower level there, higher level further underground • Opening Doors in the Tunnels will summon a NPC to attack you (decent chance to summon a Barrow Brother you have not killed yet) • Opening Doors can summon multiple of the same Brother • Going into the tunnels you'll show at the bottom of a Ladder • There are 4 ladders(shown in the video), but only one is visible to you. • The other 3 ladders are invisible(but the obstacle is still there) • You can range and mage over the invisible(and visible) ladders. • • Runescape 2007 Barrows Guide • Old School Runescape • RS07 OSRS • http://oldschool.runescape.com/
