My first stop on this motorbike road trip is Kayonza, a town in Eastern Province. Over the years, Bashana Companies Ltd have been transforming it into a central stopping point between Kigali and Akagera National Park. There's a cafe, farm shop, guesthouse, art gallery and craft emporium.
