The potential connection of Robert Jordan's creation of the Ways in The Wheel of Time series and Stonehenge. The Ways, a magical network for fast travel is hypothesized to be inspired by this ancient megalith, drawing parallels from Arthurian legend and historical manuscripts. A collaboration between male Channelers and Ogier in creating a stone gateway mirrors the depiction of Merlin and giants building Stonehenge in medieval artwork dating back to 1155. • #thewheeloftime • ☯️ Support Road to Tar Valon ☯️ • •Patreon:   / roadtotarvalon   • •Buy me a Book: https://ko-fi.com/roadtotarvalon • •Check out some Wheel of Time merch: https://my-store-c683bf.creator-sprin... • ☯️ Follow me on Social Media ☯️ • •Discord: https://linktr.ee/roadtotarvalon • •Twitter: https://twitter.com/RoadtoTarValon?t=... • •Instagram:   / roadtotarvalon   • The Wheel of Time is a series of high fantasy novels by American author Robert Jordan, with Brandon Sanderson as a co-author for the final three novels. Originally planned as a six-book series at its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time came to span 14 volumes, in addition to a prequel novel and three companion books. Jordan died in 2007 while working on what was planned to be the twelfth and final volume in the series. He prepared extensive notes, which enabled fellow fantasy author Sanderson to complete the final book, which grew into three volumes: The Gathering Storm (2009), Towers of Midnight (2010), and A Memory of Light (2013).
