In this video I show three methods to populate an online Word document. The three methods are : Power Automate, Array and Office Scripts. • This video is in three parts each showing each method. • More Notes • Word Online and Excel Online are in the process of being updated to match their Desktop versions. This is a long process which will take Microsoft a few years to do. Though they have made remarkable progress so far. They are making a web page look and act like Excel and Word. An incredible achievement. It might, also, be the case that the two version will never exactly match. • Using the Content Controls, as shown, in Word Desktop, creates a placeholder for the data to go to. That step can only be done in Word Desktop at this time. The online version of Word does not have that functionality. • In my video I show three methods but I discovered, recently, a new fourth method. Though it costs money; whereas my three are already included in current your Office 365 licence. The new method is described here below. It can be summarised as mail merging for Word Online . https://www.sharepointnutsandbolts.co... • The technology used for that fourth method is called SharePoint Syntex : https://www.microsoft.com/en-ie/micro... • A fifth option is to buy an Add-In: https://analysisplace.com/document-au.... Though, Add-Ins usually break as soon as Microsoft makes a change to Office 365! Which is often! • Office Scripts only operates in Excel Online. • This video was made with the advice of Damien Bird, MVP, who suggested a method to fix my array syntax. See Damien's channel here.    / @damobird365
