Sermon for October 6, 2024 • Pastor Bev Piro • Trinity Lutheran Church Schools • REDISCOVERING OUR ROOTS • Pastor Bev Piro reflects on the story of St. Francis of Assisi, a man whose life was transformed by embracing simplicity and service. By looking to his past, Francis was able to shift his focus from wealth to a life dedicated to others, inspiring us to do the same. This sermon invites us to tend the garden of our own past—reconsidering how we have used our gifts and resources—and turn towards a life of stewardship.
