A huge fire has devastated Copenhagen’s 17th-century former stock exchange, toppling the historic building’s landmark spire. • The 56-metre (184-foot) spire disappeared into flames at the Børsen building, which has been undergoing renovation. Political leaders in Denmark, have called it the country’s “Notre Dame moment”, likening it to the 2019 inferno at the famous Paris cathedral.
