X linked traits are Inherited traits determined by genes on the sex chromosomes. Males only have one copy of the X chromosome and females have two copies. Males only get an X chromosome from their mother. Females get an X chromosome from each parent and are more likely to show X-linked dominate disorders. • Also the definition and some samples are given to demonstrate a test for color blindness. This tests the cones located in your retina to see if there are potential mutations that may have occurred.
