For all of us, one time or another, we're going to need to contact Uber for help. • There are a lot of ways to do it, and in today's video we're going to talk about each one. • 10 ways to contact Uber: https://www.ridester.com/how-to-conta... • Uber phone number: https://www.ridester.com/uber-phone-n... • ---- • Just pull out your app and you can click on your trip history or you can click on help and there's a number of different categories you can have that are automated and set up quickly. • So, Oh, I left something in that person's car or something like that. Recently, I had a trip to the airport and I took an Uber and the driver was fantastic. • But they were deaf. And they were fantastic. I love that they were doing the job. But halfway into the ride, they started to have a video chat with their friend and were signing while they were driving, like back and forth with this person for like five minutes. • And it was just right a blizzard. • So, I texted this person and said, Hey, that's illegal. Please don't do that. That's what I told them. • And then right after I messaged Uber and said, Hey, I love this guy, he was great. Please let him keep his job. But warn him, let him not do this. • Within minutes, I got a refund back. I wasn't expecting it, but they did that. So, Uber takes care of passengers really well. Now, as for drivers, what do you do when you need help? • It's a little different for drivers. Uber typically has put passengers before drivers. And I think that's been to their detriment. • But let me read to you a handful of things because there's a lot. • First of all, on every app or the website, there's a service center with a bunch of automated kind of preset issues, whether it's like a passenger left something in my car and so forth. • And you can click it and go through that process. This is an efficient way for them to weed out and to figure out exactly what you need. • Ordinarily, you're not gonna receive the most human response. Many drivers, we joke that you won't get actual human after...unless you like reply several times and you're angry because sometimes they'll respond back with a very canned copy-paste answer that you feel like it was, Did a bot do this? • And you read it and you're like, You didn't even read my email. And so that's a ding on Uber. So, just know that you may have to email a few times, you can maybe do emojis or just say, I'm furious or something like that. • Maybe they will pick up the bots and send it to an actual person to read it. So, that's the message center. • Second, Uber now has live support, which is extremely helpful. Now, to access this, you just have to take your phone and on the top right you can click help and then you can see a blue phone icon that says, Tap. • And you can call support. I found it okay. I've called a few times. The first time I called they promised to do something and they didn't do it. • The second time I called, the person clearly didn't care about their job and didn't care about me. And it was really frustrating. But it may be different for you, but I was pretty sure that person's first language was not English. • So, that will give you a little tip for what kind of service you may get. But it can change. Maybe this video's dated by the time you watch it and their fantastic. • Another line you can call is the critical response line. Now, this is when there's an emergency. Okay? • So emergency is not, I forgot something or I don't know what to do with whatever. It's a car accident, an emergency. • There will be a number on this page that you can look on and call that number for a critical response. • The last line of defense is the Greenlight Hub. Now, if you're in a larger city, chances are you have...Uber has purchased a property and there are real people there who speak English and you can go in and you can talk with them. • I found my experience with them pretty good actually. They were sympathetic. They could look into my eyes and they understood things and they helped me a number of times and they actually had cool coupons and extra little freebies for drivers. • And sometimes Greenlight Hubs also have like seminars on how to do taxes and so forth. So, look for that. But in general, you will not have to use them. • So, overall, Uber, their job with support is satisfactory. Okay? • I'll give them a C. It's there. It can help you. In general, most people won't have issues, but they have some frustrating bugs that need to be worked on.
