It is one of the largest manufacturers of this product in the world. • It all starts with the sugar cane harvest. On some farms, sugarcane is burned to facilitate the process. • Once the burning is over, the tractor cuts and harvests the cane. Large trucks transport the raw material to the sugar factory. • The height of the cane is up to 6 meters, and only about 15% is what actually turns into the sugar we know. • Sugar cane is crushed and ground. • From the mill, it passes through the separator, where the bagasse and juice are separated. • The evaporator dries the cane fibers, keeping the raw sugar, to be crystallized later.
