The 3 Secrets of Fatima • In May 1917, in Portugal, three shepherd children named Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta were playing when suddenly a beautiful lady appeared on holm oak tree. This lady was believed to be the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus. Besides asking for prayers and devotion, she revealed three secrets to the children. • The first was a vision of hell, where the children saw demons and souls in torment.
