Songs like “Long Road” and “Moon Tracer” are arranged similar to straightforward jam-sessions while “Brotherhood and “Daytime Rebel” venture to a much more psychedelic destination. The other tracks on the album are just as full of surprises, taking inspiration from many classic bands from the 70’s. • Gear used: • Schecter Demon 6 • Bias FX 2 • Virage was a passion project of mine for quite some time. I originally wrote some of these songs back in 2014. In 2018, I had began recording the demos of Virage via Garageband. In 2019, I released a demo version of Virage and shelved the project for quite sometime. In that same year, I was recording a synth rock album “Anthems Among an Artificial Age” and a death metal album for my band Abducted titled “Self Aware”. • After those two albums released, I started the process on another Death Metal album called “Summoned to an Unknown Realm” and also began piecing together another synth rock album; a sequel to “Anthems Among an Artificial Age”, which is yet to be completed. Flash forward to 2022, I’m still working on multiple albums spanning several genres. • I stumbled across some of the project files for Virage in early August 2022 and decided it was time to fully realize the album.
