Remove an American Standard Faucet Cartridge in 7 Simple Steps • 1. Remove index button on handle base • 2. Remove set screw with a hex wrench (3/32”) • 3. Remove handle • 4. Unthread cartridge cover by turning counter-clockwise • 5. Remove cartridge and check seals at bottom for damage or debris • 6. Check sealing surface within faucet body for damage or debris • 7.
