A drug bust led to the arrest of three Nassau County police officers, two for their alleged involvement in a drug ring and the third for allegedly conspiring to rob a patron of a local casino and an armored casino truck. • Suffolk County District Attorney Timothy Sini said officers 28-year-old Erik Skoglund, of Port Jefferson Station, and 32-year-old Karen Ernst, of Bethpage, accepted nearly 75 pounds of marijuana delivered from California on behalf of 29-year-old Daniel Caceres of Port Jefferson Station. • Prosecutors said Caceres had been operating a drug ring since 2016 in which he would have pot and other narcotics delivered to co-conspirators who would then deliver the drugs to Caceres. Eight other people were named as operators in Caceres' alleged drug ring. • Kristin Thorne has more: https://7ny.tv/2K7VtKY • Check out more Eyewitness News - http://7ny.tv/2suJHTd • OUR SOCIAL MEDIA – • FACEBOOK: / abc7ny • TWITTER: / abc7ny • INSTAGRAM: / abc7ny • SNAP: abc7ny • PODCASTS: http://abc7ny.com/podcasts/ • NEW HERE? – • Hi!
