In this video, I am going over everything about Virtualization. I'm going over Docker, Open Shift, VMWare, HyperV, QEMU, Virtualbox, virt-manager with all of them Explained. You will have a good concept of how they all fit into the world of technology. • Hypervisors • Type 1 • Bare Metal - ESXi, XenServer, and HyperV • Check old video • • Introduction to Virtualization • Type 2 • Runs on top of Host OS - VMWare Workstation, VirtualBox, Boxes, QEMU/virt-manager, and unRaid • VMWare Workstation - Best out of the box and just works - limited functionality in free version • Virtualbox - Great out of the box settings and easy setup. • Boxes - Exclusive to the GNOME Desktop Environment - Clean setup - Limited Functionality on front end. Based on QEMU • Virt-manager - The defacto standard for QEMU frontends. Has a bit of everything and my go to frontend for QEMU. • The Rest • unRAID - This is like a weird hybrid that is like a mix of Type 1 and Type 2. You are able to make a single box, create two workstations. Its just odd, but awesome at the same time. • Containers • Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes • Others exist but these two are really what everyone uses. . • ►► Digital Downloads ➜ https://www.cttstore.com • ►► Patreon ➜ / christitustech • ►► Reddit ➜ / christitustech • ►► Titus Tech Talk ➜ / titustechtalk • ►► Twitch ➜ / christitustech
