Review #10 • First time flying with AirAsia? Then you'll have to watch this flight review! In this flight review, I'll give you some tips and basic information about flying with AirAsia. AirAsia X is basically the longer range version of AirAsia and they use A330-300 aircraft instead of A320s. If this your first time flying with AirAsia X, you might find these terms unfamiliar: Premium Flatbed, Quiet Zone and Premium Flex. • Premium flatbed is essentially the 'business class' on the aircraft, in which you'll be given lounge access (when departing from KLIA2), a designated check-in lane, free checked bag a complimentary meal and an almost 180 lie-flat seat. • Premium Flex is the most expensive economy fare class. You'll be given lounge access, a designated check-in lane, free checked bag, free selection of seats and a complimentary meal. • Quiet Zone, which is where I was seated, is a small economy cabin just in front of the main, larger economy cabin, just behind the Premium Flatbed cabin.
