The sacred flame of Lord Sadashiva is omnipresent. From the Sadashiva Jyoti and with his command the universe is born and destroyed in each and every cycle of time called Manvantar . Form Sadashiva Jyoti the creator (Lord Brahma) and the protector (Lord Vishnu) are born. Lord Brahma creates nature and later on creates sacred creature like Seven Sages, Daksha Prajapati (The first King) and Kamdev (The Lord of Love). Lord Brahma prays to Lord Sadashiva to appear on Kailash along with his Shakti, but Shakti says she will take birth as the daughter of Daksha Prajapati. Lord Shiva then appears on Kailash on Mahashivratri.
