Ham Radio (Amateur Radio) is a fun hobby and includes digital modes. It's easier than ever with the Icom 7300. How do you adjust power output on the Icom 7300 and Icom 7610 when operating digital modes? I'm mainly talking FT8, PSK31.I use WSJT-X, DM780 and Winwarbler. Fldigi too. The manual says to adjust the devices output level to within the ALC zone. • Use your own judgement as to how much ALC is sufficient. • In this video I'll show you how I am able to keep a consistent ALC level while adjusting power output. This works with all of my software, Winwarbler, WSJT-X, DM780 and Fldigi. • While there are a few ways to adjust the output level, please keep in mind the ALC zone.
