The first activation is shown at 1:55 • This is the Nolan Street level crossing at Unanderra, New South Wales. I previously filmed the crossing in September 2017 and the video can be seen here • Level Crossing, Unanderra (Nolan St) ... • Since then there were no changes to the crossing until around July 2020 when the original black painted Western Cullen Hayes mechanical bell on the western signal was replaced by a brand new mechanical bell. The new bell is programmed to ring from start up until the gates have lowered, just like the old bell was. • The freight train shown in the video is 9333N empty grain hoppers from Bomaderry (Nowra) to Cootamundra, with locomotives 8137, 8139, 8133 and 8157. All other trains are passenger services operating between Sydney and Kiama. • Filmed on August 30, 2020.
