Hummus (or houmous) is a deliciously simple dip made from chickpeas (garbanzo beans), tahini, garlic and lemon juice. It's quick and easy to make, and far cheaper and better than store-bought hummus. Also in this video I have a go at making baba ganoush - also known as moutabal and several other names - a smoky aubergine (eggplant) dip.
