The 13 Wudang stances are a cornerstone of martial mastery, forging external power, body structure, and the three external harmonies. Internally, they elevate inner qi, align the three internal harmonies, and harmonize the internal organs, nurturing the three treasures: Jing, Qi, and Shen. Wudang Shi San Zhuang, the 13 standing pillars, is a revered Qi Gong exercise that cultivates Qi and Song. This standing meditation calms the mind, fortifies the body from within, and wards off illness. An ancient adage declares: all styles are born from the standing exercise. These 13 pillars, drawn from various Wudang styles, lay a formidable foundation for any martial art. • • Tang Li Long is a 15th generation lineage holder of XuanWu Pai (็ๆญฆๆดพ) and one of the “Five Dragons of Wudang”, official custodians of the lineage knowledge. • After a lifetime of devotion to the study and practice of Kung Fu, Master Tang’s vision is to wholeheartedly pass on his teachings through a refined teaching system. He believes the integrity of a Kung Fu master is vital to the student’s development. Being a good master, one should follow two main principles: • First of all, the master must be highly proficient in Wudang Kung Fu, the theory aspect, and continually practice. Second, he must be broad-minded, conscientious, and responsible. • Master Tang’s passion is for all students to grow into successors of internal Kung Fu (nèijiฤquán, ๅ ๅฎถๆณ) by motivating them to work hard through his methodology, which is straightforward, systematic and practical. This enables his students to understand the precise theories which support practical application and thereby all students are put on the path to embrace internal righteousness. • After successful training here is complete, you are then on the right and natural way of Wudang Kung Fu. • โช@WudangAcademyโฌ • โช@ismethimmet6383โฌ • • www.awakenmastery.com
