Giuseppina is a short film produced by James Hill and sponsored by British Petroleum (BP). It won the Academy Award for Best Documentary (Short Subject) in 1961. • It stars Antonia Scalari as Giuseppina and Giulio Marchetti as her father Giuseppi Rossi. • The film was shot in Mandriole, Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy (Go to https://goo.gl/maps/7hKHPQWZ2b1P6E2Q8 then from the road two houses right of the Eden Cafe ) in 1959 and released in 1960. • In the 1960's and early 1970's Giuseppina was broadcast 185 times as a Colour Trade Test film on BBC 2 in the UK.
