Installing Mobile Home Anchors the Easy Way

For more stories check out https://norwilds.com • In this episode I go over how I install mobile home (Duck Bill) anchors. In my area of B.C Canada banks will require that one anchors their mobile homes to their land to be included in a mortgage. • It is kind of silly really because if one wished they could just cut the cable but it is what they want so I do it that way. I welded the pipe on to the hammer bit to create a cup so I can drive the rebar rod with anchor into the ground. You will notice I broke the pipe beside the weld because of the angle I was working at. To remedy this I rewelded the pipe to the bit then welded up inside the pipe and loaded it up with material so that it will be pounding against weld instead of a naked join.
