Welcome back... to Japan's Rabbit Island! • This visit to Okunoshima was during the winter months, so we knew that food and water would be scarce. In preparation, we packed a big bag of vegetables, and as many delicious Purina hay-based pellets as we could. In this video, the rabbits have already had their pellet based meal, but are still eager to devour a second feeding of Japanese cabbage. They obviously have no reservations in doing what it takes to get a piece of the action. • Japan's Rabbit Island, Ōkunoshima (大久野島), is a small island located in the Inland Sea of Japan in the city of Takehara, Hiroshima Prefecture.
