Pool Filter Sand was NOT working out

The Pool Filter Sand I had in my 20 gallon long was simply put, not working out! The size of the sand was just way to small and wasn't allowing the plants roots to access any nutrients. Even with root tabs I was having very poor growth! So I'm making the switch back to basic old gravel. I think basic gravel works every bit as good as Eco-Complete.
