September 6, 2024. Red-headed Woodpecker calling. I assume it was calling for its partner. Amazingly it kept on calling over 4 minutes. The film captured about 3 and a half minutes. • (Technical Note: The film is marred by the wind noise. Unfortunately I don’t have technical abilities to remove it. Too bad I didn’t use the external mic with windshield. When I was filming it, the wind didn’t seem that strong. I am surprised the wind noise is this loud.
