In this simple tutorial, learn how to disassemble inexpensive folding stools to give them an easy upgrade. First, remove the legs of the stool. Next, place cardboard or another disposable material on a flat surface. Place the metal legs on the cardboard and cover them in gold spray paint. While the paint dries, cut batting in the shape of the stool seat. After, glue the batting to the stool. Next, cut a piece of fabric in the shape of your stool. Using a staple gun, staple the edges of the fabric to the bottom of the stool seat. Once your seat is covered in batting and fabric, reconnect the legs.
