It's time for another Vintage Gadget video! A lot of you commented on my last thrift haul and said you wanted to see the Veg-O-Matic in action, so here it is. This handy gadget was one of the first as seen on TV products widely marketed through television commercials/infomercials. Invented by Samuel Popiel and then marketed by his son Ron (Ronco) the Veg-O-Matic was a household name in the 1960's and beyond. Let's test out this Vintage Gadget. Thanks for watching! Here's a link to my merch! • https://teespring.com/stores/laci-fay... • Here's a link to my ko-fi page if you would like to support my channel: • https://ko-fi.com/lacifay • Potato Pancakes (Swiss Style) • (I cut the recipe in 1/4 so I didn't make as much) • 4lbs raw potatoes- diced • 4 eggs, separated • 3/4 cup flour • pepper- pinch • 1/2 TBSP salt • 1 large, sour apple, peeled diced • 1 onion- diced • Peel dice potatoes, add egg yolks, flour, pepper salt, diced apple and diced onion. Fold in beaten egg whites. Heat shortening in pan very hot cook 3-4 potato pancakes in the pan at a time.
