Installation. • First open a Terminal window and run the following command. • curl -LO https://github.com/kevinlekiller/resh... • This will download the reshade-linux script to your home directory. • Next, we need to make the script executable, which you can do with the following command. • chmod u+x reshade-linux.sh • Finally, we need to run the script with this command. • ./reshade-linux.sh • First the script will check if ReShade is already installed on your system, and if not download and install ReShade. • Once the process is finished, it will if you want to install or uninstall ReShade for a particular game. • In this case we want to install ReShade for Dark Souls Remastered so I will press I. • Now we need to specify where the game executable is located. • In Steam the easiest method to do that is to open the properties of the game, click on the Local File tab, and click the Browse button. • This will bring up directory in your file browser. • From here, copy the path, paste into the Terminal, press Enter and confirm the path is correct. • It will also ask you if you want to automatically detect the right dll files to use for ReShade, press y. • You might also get another prompt about the architecture of the game, press y again. • Once the process is finished, take a copy of the environmental variable, and paste that into the game’s custom launch option. • You find that by opening properties, and at the bottom of the General tab. • Click OK once done. • 2. Using ReShade. • To use ReShade with a game, launch as normal and press the Home key to bring up the list of available effects. • Simply enable the ones you wish to use. • #reshade #linux #proton • Social Media Links • Discord -   / discord   • Facebook -   / intelligent-gaming-101640054531594   • Mastodon - https://mastodon.social/@Intelligentg... • Reddit -   / intelligentgaming2020   • Twitter -   / inspectorgecko
