Today I have this all-new 2024 Chevy Silverado EV 4WT! The Silverado EV shares certain design cues with the 2020 GMC Hummer EV Pickup, which is bigger and more potent. Additionally, both trucks have elements in common with the 20-year-old Chevy Avalanche, which is a frame-and-cab combo that is strengthened by flying buttress sail panels that run from the back of the cab roof to the bed's forward rails. The mid-gate, which extends the truck bed's cargo area when needed by opening the back of the cab under the rear window, is another feature carried over from the Avalanche to the Silverado EV. For 2024, the Silverado EV is completely new. Other than having the same name as the traditional Silverado and having a lot of entertainment and safety technology, Chevrolet's first electric truck is a class apart.
